Holidays over...Back to work!

Im excited to start sharing Immortal with everyone. It was refreshing to sit down and listen to some of the music after a while and remember why we are working on this project.

Over the holidays we were able to share this project with friends and family. It's fun to see the look on their faces when you tell them what you are doing...it's even more exciting to see their reaction when they hear the music for the first time.

Brittney wrote in her blog about how difficult it is to give up sugar with this new diet. I will back that up! I have been doing it along with her and there isn't an hour that goes by that I don't crave something. I cant imagine how difficult that would be to rely on human blood to survive, yet desire to maintain a normal life. At least my diet will be over in 5 weeks! I hope...

The beginning...

"I have an idea I want to share with you. I feel like you might be the right person to help with it. Its all ready to go, we just need to market it...."

"...ok, Im curious now...what is it?...."

"...a Vampire musical!.."

(long pause)

"...oookaay...."

-A vampire musical? That was the farthest thing from my mind when Matt shared Immortal with me the first time. I thought he wanted me to help him sell some sort of widget they had invented. I had heard rumors that Crystal was musically talented, but I had never thought that she would have written an entire musical...and it was good....really good.


So I made the obvious choice and said yes we they asked me to help out with the project. Not sure why they would ask me-I'm not really too good at anything-but I'm grateful all the same. 


Immortal is the perfect combination of a great story, beautiful music and a world-class group of people behind it-haha. I am very excited to be a part of this group and this adventure.
